The Presbytery consists of 20 churches, 7 New Worshiping Communities, and a vibrant university ministry on the central coast of California. We are looking for a candidate that can help us live out our mission and vision that the Presbytery has spent significant work in the past few years to establish healthier channels of communication and transparency to set up ministries to succeed.

Minister of Children and Families
Coastal Community church in Grover Beach is looking for a Minister of Children and Families.
The Minister for Children and Families is responsible to direct and coordinate the programs for children, from nursery through 5th grade. This person will see his or her position as a profound ministry of hospitality so that insiders and outsiders can trust Jesus and participate in His Kingdom. In addition, this person will enable volunteers, children and families to feel safe and welcome in their presence and at Coastal Community Church. This person leads Coastal Kids programs, events, and projects, which are clearly communicated and coordinated and are also valuable to the children, their families, and corporate life of the congregation. Hours: This part time position is 20 hours per week.
Work Days: Sunday through Wednesday/Thursday
Pay rate: $25-30 an hour
Benefits: (after the first 90 days of employment): 10 sick days, one month paid vacation, matching 403b plan of up to $1500 per year, $3,000 medical wrap per year.
