Lay Leadership Training Institute

This program was developed with a particular focus on the training of missional leaders for new church developments, including leaders in existing worshiping fellowship groups. Students work with professors and mentors to identify and enhance their gifts for ministry. Classes offer theological and practical bases for life-long leraning and service. Some students accept callings as Commissioned Lay Pastors after they complete this program, but all are enriched by the conversation, reflection and study provided by the LLTP.

Front Porch Campus Ministry

Presbyterians of Reasoned Christian Hope

Front Porch/San Luis Obispo is a community of Cal Poly and Cuesta College students who desire to learn more about the person of Jesus Christ. By challenging minds, engaging hearts, and putting hands to use in the service of others, Front Porch strives to be a community preparing students to be agents of grace to the world around them. The presbytery’s campus ministry outreach at is led by campus pastor Patrick Hall.
